Because every queen deserves better than musty air and missing towels!
Let me just say this—when you’re truly exhausted from being on the road, all you want is a cozy, comfy, inviting space to recharge your sparkle. 💖 I thought the Holiday Inn would be that dreamy little escape for me… but oh honey, I was in for a rude awakening. 😩
First things first—the rooms? Not it. They weren’t properly ventilated and had zero of the essential toiletries laid out. No shampoo. No conditioner. Not even a courtesy bar of soap. Like… hello? What happened to hospitality 101? 🧴🚫
And don’t even get me started on the towel situation. Barely enough for one person, let alone if you’re traveling with a friend or family. Super inconvenient, super annoying, and honestly, just plain unthoughtful. A girl shouldn’t have to beg for basics!
Now—pause for a little pink glitter of positivity—the food was the only thing that didn’t flop. 🍳✨ A sweet young lady in the kitchen brought a little light to the stay with her kindness and cooking skills. Shoutout to her for being the MVP of my trip!
As for the rest? The check-in staff was nice, but the cleaning crew? Not so much. They really want you out at check out time and you barely would have time to get all of your belongings together, where you felt rushed! And don’t even think about going for a poolside moment… it was closed the entire time for cleaning. No splashes, no sun, no fun. 💦☀️❌
All in all, it was a no from me, babe. 💅🏾 I wouldn’t recommend staying there, even if you just needed a break from the drama of everyday life (or hiding from a text you regret sending LOL).
